Strictly controlling the criteria an agent has to meet to be featured on our website and display the
PREMIUM MEMBER logo, means you, the buyer, has peace of mind.

Agents carry just the Premium Member logo haven't been through the review process yet but are nominated business in a specific geographical area.

What is the Criteria an Agent has to meet to gain the Customer Charter Approved logo?

To qualify as a Local info Premium Member, they must:


    • have an office in the town they represent
    • manned office during working hours
    • trade legally, within the laws of the country they represent
    • conform to the FOPDAC code of ethics
    • agree and sign they have never been convicted of fraud,
          money laundering or other financial irregularities

    • be qualified, and employ staff with experience,
    • only advertise currently available properties
    • have recent recommendations from satisfied customers (within last 6 mths)
    • have a fully functioning office with procedures and systems
    • advertise for sale a minimum number of properties in a chosen area
    • allow monitored customer feedback (independent)
    • meet the standards and uphold our Service Level Agreement
    • provide us with a minimum of 6 recommendations with the last 6 months

An ongoing part to the Charter is that an agent must allow monitored customer feedback. These positions they hold are exclusive and can be lost.

The charter also includes information on:


    • Company overview
    • Support services offered, lawyer, villa care, locksmiths etc. 
    • Languages spoken
    • Reasons why a seller should list with this particular agent
    • The agent’s marketing network
    • Final review summary by Local info
Local info will recheck the charter information every 12 months, to ensure the agent is continually committed to a high level of service.

These criteria have been put in place to assure you that we mean business.  You’ll no longer have to worry about whether you’re dealing with a reputable agent – the Premium member customer charter logo means you are.

If you want to check an agent’s customer charter you can check it on their Local info web page.  Here we’ll display the main sections of their charter, which means you can trust them.

And we don’t just give them the logo indefinitely.  We continually monitor an agents’ performance.  They can also loose their logo if we receive repeated complaints against them.
