What's a Casa Rural?
A casa rural is Spain’s equivalent to bed and breakfast accommodation. These are usually owner’s homes in small villages or in the countryside with about 3-10 rooms.
They usually offer clean and friendly accommodation and can be useful if you’re trying to get to know the local area as the owner’s will have a wealth of knowledge about things to see and do.
A casa rural will probably offer a basic breakfast and may offer a simple dinner if you book in advance. Some owners offer a packed lunch.
In a casa rural you’ll usually share any facilities such as the living area or the garden with the owners.
Staying in a casa rural with Spanish owners is a great way to improve your Spanish.
