Religions in Spain
Religion is an important part of Spanish life and there are many beautiful churches throughout the area.
Many Spanish people are Catholics, although it is a Christian country. As with many European religious services today, it tends to be the older people that attend them. You’ll only be likely to see a younger person in church for a wedding or baptism.
When visiting a Spanish church you should dress appropriately and with respect - no flip flops, shorts or sun dresses.
