Premier Villas Spain occupies a beautiful building on the edge of Jalón, in the popular Jalón Valley, 15 minutes from Benissa and exit 63 of the main tolls for the A7 motorway.

Jalón is a short drive from both Alicante (50 mins.) and Valencia (70 mins.) airports.

The office is easy to find and is situated on the main road from Jalón to Alcalalí, with parking nearby They are well maintained, clean and very welcoming.

Not your usual office as the building has been sympathetically restored and care has been taken to use the available space well for meeting areas, property displays and workstations.

The husband and wife team who own the business, Chris and Jacqueline Hara have positioned themselves in key roles within the organisation and quite clearly have their fingers on the pulse.

Chris's role as Sales Director sees him involved in all property listings as he feels it's vital he knows what's on offer from every client. This plays a key role in fulfilling an enquiry quickly and effectively. Chris’s experience spans 18 years in the real estate industry, the last 6 being here in Jalón, so he knows the local area extremely well. Prior to this he was based on the Costa del Sol, so he has an extensive knowledge of Spain.

Jacqueline ensures at each step of the process buyers and sellers are kept fully up to date with the sale and purchase of each property. There is full support and help on offer, should the unusual circumstance arise that there may be issues that arise with the administration team or purchase/letting process.

Premier offer an end to end solution for buyers and sellers and from what we have observed seem to achieve this. The organisation and infrastructure of the business is sound and well set up. All aspects of the sale and purchase process are catered for and come as part of the total package, with optional extras should you become a client.

Premier’s depth of knowledge about the areas they sell in is strong as the owners and staff all live locally. The past 6 years’ trading have seen Premier develop their business and staff into a very strong package. All work is proactive on behalf of the client and great care is taken not to promise unrealistic objectives when a client decides to buy or sell with Premier.

“ Vital ground is covered with each client”, says Chris. “Because of our knowledge and experience of the area, types of property, market place and buyers this pay dividends when taking new listings on as we have the ability to quickly access and list a property”.

There is a good selection of property available, averaging about 200, the majority being re-sales, and around 45 being luxury holiday lets and 20 long term rentals. The majority of re-sale property is valued under 1 million euros.

The rental side of the business is very strong with the franchise and support services Premier offer all scaling to fit a clients exact requirements and goals.

Premier seem to work very hard within the local community and sponsor numerous activities. We saw evidence of support for the Lions club, local restaurants and other small businesses.

This is clearly a business that cares about their reputation and works hard in this area to do what they can to give something back to the local Spanish and English communities.

We believe Premier are a very well organised and established business. The professionalism, enthusiasm and passion is admirable and nothing seems to be left to chance. It is clear these people are professionals and having enjoyed many years in the estate agency business here in Spain. They have every step identified from the initial enquiry from a vendor or a potential purchaser through to the final sale.

Premier's reputation is for 'selling property'. They believe their success is down to knowing the market, ensuring they know and understand their clients and guiding any prospective purchasers in an honest open manner. They will aim to put the customers best interest first at all times.

We attend the notary with our purchasers and provide a free service for NIE applications prior to purchasing. Premier take great care when listing a property and put a lot into this stage. All properties are taken on for a 6 months period. Reviews are conducted after 6 months covering market conditions, feed backs or changes that may be required.

We feel is a very effective setup as each franchisee has bought the franchise but are acting under the Premier brand and the values Premier maintain. As these people have invested into the property maintenance division they can equally ensure they provide an all round service with the luxury of being part of a bigger organization.

Marketing network - what do you do for a client?
Many agents work incredibly hard for their clients. But, on the face of it they may never know. Placing your property with the right agent will mean the difference in achieving your goals. Every client’s property is listed on the Premier web site. A featured page is produced and advertised in their offices. Premier advertise locally in certain press and it may be featured within those pages on a random basis. Properties are also advertised upon the Local info property portal.

Their web site is simple to use, clean and effective properties are well photographed and presented. Enough information is presented in order to gain an enquiry. The web site is very well maintained and can be updated almost immediately.

Currently Premier are involved in an ongoing 'pay per click' marketing campaign with Google. This drives traffic to their web site given key words are used to search. E.g Property Spain. This helps them to be found as if a search term matches a keyword premier pay for they feature at the top of the page

This is an expensive process but very effective. Its result is more visitors to their web site and is why their current web rankings are high.

The web site itself is not particularly well set up for automatic search engine optimisation. No robots automatically visit which in turn help organic web rankings. Whilst the pay per click campaign continues this doesn't really matter.

Web site is produced and maintained in English only.

Advertising
The profile of Premier locally is extremely high and they produce adverts in numerous publications each month in and around the North Costa Blanca. The business works hard to maintain a very high profile.

We saw no current evidence of anything further afield.

These are organized as and when a client requires to view and every help is given to a client to plan their trip and maximize the time here.

Premier have a number of other agents who act as introducers. These are other estate agents in the UK. France and Belgium. Who may help in further advertising the property portfolio from Premier. This is quite important as depending upon market conditions different nationalities may be in a better position to buy.

It further increases the awareness of any property this agent has via a network of other estate agents.
