Senija is a small and charming village in the Marina Alta located at a few kilometers from Benissa. Its borders reach from Benissa to Gata der Gorgos and Llíber.

The only way to reach the town is through a local road coming from Benissa and leading further to Llíber and Jalon.

Its economy is bases on agriculture and the production of wine, almonds and olives.

Senija’s fiestas take place in May in honor of Mare de Deu i Dels Desamparats and is a very joyfull, colourfull and tradicional ceremony.
