Finestrat is a municipality of the Comunidad Valenciana located in the north of the Alicante Province and borders to the municipalities of Benidorm, Benimantell, Orcheta, Polop, Sella and Villajoyosa.

The town is located in the inside of the country but has about 2 kilometers of coast as well. The beach is called Cala de Finestrat and borders to Villajoyosa and Benidorm.

Within the borders of the municipality is the famous mountain Puig Campana with a height of 1.410 meters above sea level.

In Finestrat you can also find the attraction park Terra Mítica.

From Alicante you can reach this town by the AP-7 or N-332 taking the CV-759 in Villajoyosa.

The economy of the town is based on agriculture, and of course as for any town of the Costa Blanca coast, on construction and tourism.

The fiestas take place in August in honor of Santísimo Cristo del Remedio and San Bartolomé.
