Benimeli is a municipality in the comarca of Marina Alta in the Valencian Community.

Benimeli is a small farming village on the sunny side of the Sierra Segaria. Benimeli is the village located closest to the sierra and the nearest to the summit - 506 metres.

This is a small and virtually unknown village where it is extremely interesting to walk along the steep white streets that ascend up to the sierra. There is a pleasant walk that starts in the Plaza with the Church and the Ayuntamiento (Town Hall).

Patron saint feast day celebrations are held during the third week in August in honour of the Immaculate Mary and the Ecce Homo.

Is most easily reached from Ondara, where there is an exit off the A-7, and Beniarbeig.
