Sales executive - Marketing & Print Sector
JOB TITLE: SALES EXECUTIVE OBJECTIVE: As a sales executive you will be territory based, providing professional and efficient support to our clients, offering a high level of customer service whilst continually prospecting for new business opportunities and ensuring that all sales opportunities are maximised. AREA: This position exists for each province in Spain. KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: As a sales executive, your role is to sell as many of the Company’s goods or services as possible. As such, you have a very important part to play in the company's success. Your responsibilities will include: Cold calling. Following up leads. Generating revenue and acquiring customers. Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails. Visiting potential customers for new business. Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations. Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales. Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions. Identifying new markets and business opportunities. Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office. Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: To be a sales executive you will need to have: The ability and desire to sell. Excellent communication skills. Strong commercial awareness. A confident and determined approach. Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection. A high degree of self-motivation and drive. The ability to work both independently and part of a team. The capacity to flourish in a competitive environment. Experience in the print/marketing sector an advantage but not essential. A full driving license Must be adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel and Word also in the use of the Internet and email. Fluency in English and/or Spanish ideal but not essential, another foreign language may also be helpful. TRAINING New entrants will receive a short induction course that covers products and sales administration. Training will also include selling techniques, such as how to sell, how to deal with potential objections and how to close sales. You'll shadow an experienced representative and gradually take over their sales calls. You'll then be expected to get up to speed quickly and meet individual targets. Once ready you’ll be appointed a unique territory. Regular training / meetings will be held by the Regional sales manager every month.
