JOB TITLE: REGIONAL SALES MANAGER OBJECTIVE: The Regional Sales Manager will have the responsibility for recruiting, managing and developing their sales team while continuing to build and maintain your own clients. AREA: This position exists for each province in Spain. KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: As a regional sales manager, you'll be organizing and leading a team of sales representatives and be in charge of a particular geographical area. Your responsibilities will include: Generating revenue and acquiring customers. Be responsible and accountable for meeting deadlines. Giving feedback to management. Setting sales targets for individual reps and your team as a whole, according to company guidelines. Recruiting and training sales staff. Allocating areas to sales representatives. Monitoring your team's performance and motivating them to reach targets. Compiling and analysing sales figures. Reporting back to senior managers. Keeping up to date with products and competitors. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: To be a sales manager you will need to have: Excellent sales and negotiation skills. Excellent communication skills. Strong commercial awareness. A confident and determined approach. A high degree of self-motivation and drive. Good business sense. The ability to motivate and lead a team. Initiative and enthusiasm. Excellent communication and 'people skills'. Good planning and organisational skills. The ability to work calmly under pressure. A full driving licence. Must be adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel and Word also in the use of the Internet and email. Fluency in English and Spanish, another foreign language may also be helpful. TRAINING As a sales manager, you'll be expected to already have good sales and management skills.
